Thulhaadhoo is famous for being the only island in the Maldives where the inhabitants are lacquered artifacts, was used to supply the wealthy families and nobles of the country in the past, however now is sold as souvenirs to tourists.
The finest lacquer work is said to be found on Thulaadhoo, in Baa Atoll. Wooden pots, boxes and vases of all shapes and sizes display beautiful abstract patterns in red, black and yellow
There are few guesthouses and few Cafés on the island.
As to many other islands, Snorkeling gears and Water sport facilities are available for daily rent. In addition, there are Diving possibility for professional Divers and beginners.
